Word on the street is that AI is shaking up marketing, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. AI is popping up in places like Liverpool FC’s marketing and ONAR (an AI marketing company) which added over $400,000 in recurring revenue in December. Google even has a “2026 AI Marketing Blueprint” showing Policybazaar’s AI wins.
AI is being used for branding gigs for home improvement companies and influencer marketing with HypeAgent. Some are using AI to whip up videos and automate B2B marketing campaigns, and OpenAI plans to launch ChatGPT ads.
However, experts are waving red flags about “unchecked AI content” and “AI-driven algorithm volatility,” plus companies that are all talk and no walk when it comes to AI.
So, what’s the play? AI is changing the game, but we need to be smart about how we use it and keep it real.
