It’s been a surprise over the past couple of years if you haven’t been living under a rock that AI is booming and expanding at an alarming speed. I’d say every day there’s a new release or publication. So, if you’re like me, in the marketing industry, you’ll understand how this is both positive and negative. For the positive aspects, I’d like to list the following:
* It helps with tedious manual tasks.
* Research is faster than ever.
* Proofreading is no longer an issue.
* Automation has become easy and straightforward.
So these are, in my opinion, some of the positive things I’ve been noticing in my day-to-day work, but here are my concerns:
* Too much AI content.
* No restrictions or legislation.
* Everyone claims to be an expert.
* Many jobs have been replaced.
* Creativity is being lost.
Based on this, weighing the pros and cons in marketing, one can only hope what the future will bring. We just saw what Google announced at the I/O conference; let’s see how other giants respond.
